Metropolis is one of the first and most important science fiction films made. Set in the future where humans are divided into two groups: the thinkers, who make plans (but don't know how anything works), and the workers, who achieve goals.

Metropolis (1927)

Cult classic Nosferatu is a silent horror that everybody should view at least once. Telling of vampire Count Orlok, who expresses interest in a new residence and a real estate agent's wife. F.W. Murnau's Nosferatu is a milestone from every possible viewpoint.

Nosferatu (1922)

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is a creepy and distorted gem of silent cinema. Telling of Hypnotist Dr. Caligari who uses a somnambulist, Cesare, to commit murders. A subtle and psychologically horror well worth your time.
